Question: What is required of me to book?
Answer: We require our Brides to complete an electronic bridal contract and pay a $125.00 non refundable / non transferable retainer. All terms are written in the contract.
Question: How far in advanced should I book my preview session?
Answer: We book schedule all our preview sessions post booking and recommend scheduling them no more than 4-8 weeks out from your wedding date. At this time we do not offer bridal preview sessions before booking and we limit preview sessions to only our Brides.
Question: Do I have to give you the total head count for service when I book & Do you have minimums that have to be met.
Answer: We request an estimate service count upon booking and then collect "final" total no less than 90 days from your wedding date. We do disclose our service minimum upon booking, please see our wedding menu for specifics.
Question: When do you collect the wedding day balance?
Answer: We collect one payment 14 days prior to the wedding day. This gives the bridal party members time to remit payment to the bride and the bride submit one single payment.
Question: Are there any additional fees not included in the cost?
Answer: Here is an overview - we also have more details listed under "Additional Info" Not all weddings are subject to the following.
Travel fee is 0.69/mile round trip; one time fee, does not apply per person
Early set up fee if prior to 7:30 a.m $35. That is not subject to each individual.
Dirty hair fee if clients hair is heavy with oils and product $25 per person
Extension Placement Fee of $35.00 applies if clip-in extensions are requested to be added to the style. Extensions must be provided by the client and must be 100% human hair.

Question: How many artist/stylist come on wedding days and do you ever charge for extra? Does Kayla work every single booking?
Answer Part 1: The Kayla Walters Hair and Makeup Team is a boutique style team. Meaning we strive to provide a personalized experience and take on minimal weddings in a weekend. On wedding days there will be one stylist or Kayla focusing on providing hair services to the entire bridal party. If Kayla is hired as the key stylist/artist she will serve the bride by doing her hair and makeup. Team makeup artist will serve all other clients. Depending on the bridal party size at a minimum on wedding days it will be 1 stylist plus 1 makeup artist. Extra artist will be brought in when there are more than 10-12 women needing services and are various timing restrictions, extra artist fees may apply as outlined in that segment of the contract. Hair assistant(s) are also brought in to serve larger parties. If you wish to have additional team members on your wedding day please refer to the "extra artist fee" highlighted below.
Those situations require us to bring all hands on deck but doing so there is am extra artist fee associated
1. In circumstances where you request an extra artist / stylist to serve your party size of 8 guest or less
2. When there are time limitations that require your bridal party to be ready prior to 11:00am
- Most common for brides with brunch weddings
3. When your booked venue does not permit access PRIOR to 10:00am.
- It is recommended to use an off site location if your venue limits your wedding day access. Most bridal party schedules start around 8:00am.
The Fee is As Followed : $275 per makeup artist & $120 per hair assistant.
Answer Part 2: Kayla has created a boutique business model for her on location hair and makeup company. While she would love to work every single one of them she doesn’t. She has hand picked her team with artist and stylist who have like minds to provide exquisite on site wedding day services.
Question: What does a bridal preview, aka bridal trial, session cost and where are those held?
Answer: Our preview sessions are $150.00 for hair and makeup. That session will be done at our studio located in Madison, Georgia or at the assigned artist/ stylist location choice.
Question: Will my makeup last all day?
Answer: Yes, on avg the length of wear is 9-12 hours. True length of time varies. Reapplication is not necessary. We recommend to blot not wipe as you cry and to avoid excessive facial touching.
Question: Do you provide lashes for those receiving makeup services? Are lashes available to purchase if they are not booking makeup services?
Answer: Yes, lashes are included in the makeup cost for those 15 years and older.
We make lashes available to purchase if you do not book makeup for $15 a pair.
Question: Does your air brush foundation cater to all skin types?
Answer: The professional airbrush line we use is a mixed water/mineral-based product that is gentle enough on sensitive skin and light weight enough for oily skin.
Question: Do you offer tattoo coverage?
Answer: Yes, It is subject to additional fees based on size. See our Price Menu for details
Question: Do you offer partial services? (ex. airbrush foundation only, eyes only - etc)
Answer: At this time we are unable to accommodate partial services with the exception of selling lashes to individuals not receiving our makeup services.
Bridal Preview Session Rate : $150.00 All bridal preview sessions, formerly known as trials, are done at our studio in Madison, Georgia. Wedding day services are all on location.
Early Setup Fee: $35 for set up time before 7:30 am.
Relocation Fee: $250.00 is applicable when KWH Team has to move from one location to another before booked services are complete. Example: Starting services at Hotel but relocating to Venue to complete services.
Extension Placement Fee - extensions must be provided by the individual they must be 100% human/"Remy" hair and clip in style. There is a $35 fee for install, per person that request them.
Lash Add on Non Service Member Fee : If you have a bridal party member not receiving makeup services from us but they would like lashes it is $15.00 per pair.
Travel Fee: Mileage round trip is subject to $0.69 per mile. Does not apply to each individual. It is calculated from our studio base in Madison, GA. Rate is subject to change as IRS updates.
Dirty Hair Fee of $25 will apply to any client who's hair is heavy with oils and product. We request CLEAN, DRY hair. No older than 2 days.
Holiday Booking Fee: We are always grateful to be apart of your special day and that sometimes means spending select holidays away from our families. If your wedding day falls on one of these holidays, there is a NON-REFUNDABLE holiday booking fee of $175.00 in addition to the regular booking retainer fee.

Reception hair and makeup enhancements are available. They are set at a "by-the-hour" rate of $150 per hour. The hour begins at the time the last client is complete. (minimum 1 hour charge)
This package addition is subject to the stylist availability and must be pre arranged no less than 60 days prior to your wedding.
PAYMENT POLICY
Final Invoice will be sent 3 weeks prior to your wedding date and payment will be due 14 days prior to the wedding date. This allows adequate time for bridal party members to remit payment to the bride for their services. Late payments will be subject to $20 per day late
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 60 days advanced notice of a wedding cancellation. In the event that the event/wedding is cancelled less than 60 days prior to the scheduled event, you will be held responsible for half (50%) of the cost of the booked service(s).
The credit card provided in the bridal contract will be subject to that charge. In the event, the event/wedding is cancelled within 14 days of your scheduled event, you will be held responsible for 100% of the cost of the booked service(s). The credit card provided in the bridal contract is subject to that charge if payment has not been remitted.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds regarding the "Cancellation Policy" - refunds will only be given within the guidelines of our contract as specified in our cancellation policy or Force Majeure Clause. ALL rendered bridal trials, retainers and wedding day services are non-refundable.
BOOKING INFORMATION
All bookings require our digital bridal contract to be complete and the $125.00 non-refundable/non-transferable retainer paid.
Wedding dates are not booked unless BOTH are complete. Full credit of retainer is applied to your wedding balance.
