HOW DO I BOOK THE COLLECTIVE FOR MY EVENT?
Please submit an inquiry located on our 'home" page. Once your inquiry has been received we will check for availability and provide you a custom proposal to complete as well as links to your contract & retainer. Together those secure your wedding date.
HOW MUCH IS THE RETAINER AND HOW DOES IT SECURE MY DATE?
Retainer is $295.00; once your retainer is received, your date will be secured with the Kayla Walters Beauty Collective. The remitted retainer will be deducted from your wedding balance invoice which will be due 14 days prior to your wedding date. In the event that you must cancel your services please understand this retainer is non refundable & non transferable
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES KAYLA WALTERS BEAUTY COLLECTIVE ACCEPT?
KWBC accepts accepts ACH (also known as electronic check) &CREDIT CARD.
All credit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee.
IS GRATUITY INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
At this time gratuity is not included in our rates. We do our best to go over and above for all our clients. Industry standard gratuity is 18-22%
CAN I SCHEDULE A PREVIEW BEFORE BOOKING?
Due to the nature of the industry and the high volume of inquiries we receive, at this time we do not schedule previews before a retainer has been paid and the contract is signed. Previews are scheduled approximately 4-8 weeks prior to your wedding date.
DOES THE KAYLA WALTERS BEAUTY COLLECTIVE REQUIRE A SERVICE MINIMUM IN ORDER TO BE BOOKED?
We require a minimum of Bride + 5 each to receive hair & makeup for peak months or location more than 50 miles round trip for our collective. Our peak months are (MARCH, APRIL, MAY, JUNE, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER). If you do not meet our service minimum service count, we will happily serve you, however, the rate becomes a "base rate".
IS THERE A LATE FEE IF WE RUN BEHIND ON THE WEDDING DAY?
When on the wedding day you run late, you will be charged a late fee. we give a 10 min grace period. however, for every 15 min after the grace period you run late, we charge $15 every 15min. per artist we will collect the late fee on the wedding day.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE COLLECTIVE ACCOMMODATE SERVICES FOR?
we are able to accommodate up to 20 people for both hair & makeup services. for more than 20 clients, please inquire about logistics and availability.
HOW EARLY OR LATE WILL THE COLLECTIVE START SERVICES?
we understand that certain events require hair and makeup to be complete prior to 7:00am. At this time we have a $35 per artist early set up fee that applies to schedules earlier than 7:00am. At the latest we will begin services at 10:00am; if the bride request a later time there will be a $50 per hour per artist fee.
WILL THE COLLECTIVE TRAVEL OUT OF STATE OR COUNTRY?
Kayla Walters Beauty Collective is based in Georgia & has artist in South Carolina. However, our Collective has artist/stylist who would love to celebrate you however far you are. Additional fees will apply depending on the distance of your event location, the travel fee & travel arrangements will be determined.
DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE OR IS IT INCLUDED IN YOUR RATES?
Our travel rate is $0.69 per mile round trip from our home base in Madison, GA to your venue. This is not a per artist fee. Venues in the 30650 are not subject to a travel fee.
DOES THE KAYLA WALTERS BEAUTY COLLECTIVE WORK HOLIDAYS?
We have Collective members willing to serve our clients on most holiday dates. However there are additional $100 booking fee that will apply. For Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, & Halloween. At this time we do not currently offer services on New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day and New Years Eve.
PAYMENT POLICY
Final Invoice will be sent 3 weeks prior to your wedding date and payment will be due 14 days prior to the wedding date. This allows adequate time for bridal party members to remit payment to the bride for their services. Late payments will be subject to $20 per day late
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 60 days advanced notice of a wedding cancellation. The request must be submitted via email & you must sign our cancellation request subcontract. In the event that the event/wedding is cancelled less than 60 days prior to the scheduled event, you will be held responsible for half (50%) of the cost of the booked service(s). The credit card provided in the bridal contract will be subject to that charge plus the 4% processing fee. In the event, the event/wedding is cancelled within 14 days of your scheduled event, you will be held responsible for 100% of the cost of the booked service(s). The credit card provided in the bridal contract is subject to that charge plus the processing fee if payment has not been remitted per the "final payment guideline".
REFUND POLICY
Refunds regarding the "Cancellation Policy" - refunds will only be given within the guidelines of our contract as specified in our cancellation policy or Force Majeure Clause. ALL rendered bridal trials, retainers and wedding day services are non-refundable.
